ABOUT ME
I'm Jaylyn McCoy, the last McCoy in a long series of McCoys. I graduated with my Master's in Library and Information Science from the University of Denver in June 2022. I focused on digitization, preservation, and metadata. When I expressed these interests to my father, he began giving me little pieces of McCoy history. During my digitization class, an assignment asked for a digitization proposal for a collection and I thought of the hundreds of photographs, books, and other items now in my possession. Thus, the Last McCoy Library was born.

When I'm not elbows deep in books and metadata in my job at the local library, I enjoy culinary adventures such as baking, cake decorating, and experimental recipes. I'm a vigorous cheese enthusiast who's only ever met one cheese I didn't like (vanilla cheese...). I embroider and craft when I find the time. I've also recently picked up gardening, mostly for veggies, herbs, and a few fruits. I'm currently living in Aurora, CO and enjoying the close proximity to mountain hikes and local breweries.
